Expanded and
enhanced education and safety programs and individual classes for highly
influential trade association serving over 800 Builder and Associate members in
one of the nation’s most active residential construction markets.
§ Increased Association revenue from education and safety programs over 300% during a three year period. An average of 700 to 800 people annually participated in educational and safety programs resulting in a cumulative gross profit of over $500,000.
§ Conceptualized, designed, implemented, facilitated and taught educational programs including 16 week Superintendent Training Program, 15 week Understanding Home Construction class, 5 week Builder Warranty & Customer Service class, 16 week Land Development Superintendent class, and OSHA Outreach 10 Hour Safety Class for Residential Construction.
§ Established training partnership with the Arizona Division of Safety and Health (ADOSH), and produced annual HBACA Safety Summit safety symposium focusing on current hot topics in construction safety.
Researched, negotiated with and enlisted various outside speakers to teach wide variety of additional industry-specific topics including mold remediation, construction defect litigation, time management, fair housing issues, storm water management, dust control, and creating safety and health programs.
